Six Paddleboats and Four Tractor Implements

The camp’s paddleboats were leaking and past repair, and they matter more than they look like they do. As the camp director put it, they are the only boats some campers are able to use under the safety guidelines — so a broken fleet means those campers sit out the waterfront entirely.

Friends of Camp Mack helped purchase six new paddleboats for the 2023 season.

Also bought that year

• A high-powered pressure washer
• Four tractor implements — a new bucket, a brush hog, an auger with attachments, and a grapple bucket
• Ice cream from Fox Meadows Creamery, again, enough to last the staff all summer

More than $7,100 of the year’s spending went to camp as material donations.
