A Landscape Trailer, a Pool Robot and Two Stoves
Equipment bought outright for camp in 2022 — the largest share of the year's spending went straight into things the ranger and the program could use.
- Date
- December 31, 2022
Two thirds of everything Friends of Camp Mack spent in 2022 went directly to Camp Mack as material donations. Not overhead, not events — equipment the camp needed and did not have.
What was bought
- A landscape trailer for the ranger, to move the mower and landscape equipment around the property
- A robotic pool vacuum
- Two gas-powered stoves, purchased ahead of the lodge kitchen project
- Various tools and supplies for the ranger’s shop
- Enough ice cream from Fox Meadows Creamery to last the camp staff all summer
The two stoves were the organization’s opening contribution to a larger effort with the Pennsylvania Dutch Council to replace the ageing kitchen equipment in the Dellinger, Blair and Esbenshade lodges — the three buildings units use most in winter, and which had not been updated in decades.
