Taking On the Ride for Camps

The Ride for Camps motorcycle fundraiser had been run for seventeen years by its own committee, raising money for both Camp Mack and Camp Bashore.

In 2025 Friends of Camp Mack partnered with Friends of Camp Bashore, Inc. to take ownership of the event. The two organizations worked alongside members of the existing Ride for Camps committee throughout the year to put on the 18th annual ride.

It rained, which limited turnout. The event was still a financial success, with a number of new donors stepping up to deliver a strong return to both organizations.
