Green Metal Roofs on Ford and Snavely

Following Hyman and Swarr the year before, Ford and Snavely Pavilions came next.

With funding from the Pennsylvania Dutch Council, members of Friends of Camp Mack, Scouting America, the Hammer Creek Hunt Club and local businesses spent several weekends and extra service days stripping the shingle roofs and replacing them with new green metal.

The roof demolition was done on FOCM Fridays through the spring, which meant the re-roofing weekends could start with a clean deck.

Four buildings now. The aim is still every roof at camp under green metal.
