Ten Kayaks, Fencing and Lighting

Following the paddleboats two years earlier, ten new youth kayaks went into the summer camp program in 2025.

Also that year

• Fencing and lighting installed throughout camp, including the split rail fence at the Training Center
• Replacement signage and mechanicals
• Trading post fixtures and equipment repairs
• Miscellaneous cabin upgrades, tools and supplies
• Ice cream from Fox Meadows Creamery, enough to last the staff all summer

2025 was the year the organization’s finances shifted shape. Special events and fundraising took a larger share of spending than before — and returned more than $27,000 in revenue, which is what makes the ambitious work planned for the campsites possible.
