Running the 30th Bowhunters Festival
Friends of Camp Mack took the lead as support organization for the PA Spring 3D Bowhunters Festival — event prep, a full weekend of food service, and camping operations.

The PA Spring 3D Bowhunters Festival has run at Camp Mack for three decades, organised by Archers for Scouts. In mid-2024 that group became part of Friends of Camp Mack, bringing more than 25 years of service to the festival with it.
In 2025 we took the lead as the support organization for the 30th annual event.
What that involved
- Preparing and staging the site ahead of the weekend
- Running a full weekend of food service — two days of made-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner for the archers
- Overseeing camping operations for the weekend
It rained, and it was cold, and the kitchen ran anyway.
The festival is one of the largest events held at camp and one of the more significant sources of support for the property. We are looking forward to expanding it.
