First Fall Workday and Member Meeting
Close to fifteen members spent a morning taking inventory of every canvas tent at camp and clearing out the maintenance storage areas.

On Saturday, October 23, close to fifteen members turned out for a morning of work — many of them wearing Friends of Camp Mack apparel.
One group inventoried every canvas tent at camp, including those brought back from Camp Maumee. Each tent was examined and sorted: repairable tents set aside, tents beyond repair discarded, and everything in good shape folded and put back into inventory for summer camp.
A second group worked through the maintenance storage areas, discarding what was past saving and organizing the work area for future projects. Between them they filled an entire dumpster — donated, along with the disposal costs, by GFL Environmental.
Members worked until noon, stopped for a hearty lunch from the catering team, and then held the organization’s first membership meeting.
